Housing
You can find it all within the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor- from homes, to condos and apartments, and ranging from quaint and historical to brand-new developments.

Housing growth has been a strong indicator of our economy's growth with very little to no downturn in the market.

Education
The Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Community School Districts consistently receive Expansion Management magazine's highest rankingĀ in its Education Quotient report. There's comfort in knowing every district in the region is first-rate and the public schools are excellent.

Within the Corridor, residents have access to life-long learning. The University of Iowa is highly ranked among top universities by U.S. News & World Report. Other colleges are Coe College, Mount Mercy CollegeĀ and Cornell College, all excellent private schools within the Corridor. Kirkwood Community College, recognized as one of the nation's top two-year colleges offers education from adult studies to career training and core fundamentals.

Business
A diverse economy has ensured economic stability and opportunities for the Cedar Rapids area. The Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor's key industries include:

Healthcare
Affordable high-quality access to healthcare allows residents to put their mind at rest. The Corridor offers five hospitals, including the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics, a comprehensive, tertiary medical center, Mercy Iowa City, Cedar Rapids Mercy Medical Center, the Veteran's Administration Medical Center and St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

Beyond the traditional methods of healthcare, many non-traditional forms of wellness are available within the Corridor. The acknowledgement of quality health has contributed to the area ranking as one of the "healthiest places to live".
